There’s a developing shift in the hybrid workplace, from presenteeism to “me-ism” to something that seems to be more like a collective approach to working together. And a shift too in how employers think about fairness and flexibility, opening up new forms of time flex for place-tied staff. It’s how we work now – explored in my report for Flexibility Works, “How we work now: how the pandemic changed the way we work forever”, based on interviews in 2020 and again in 2022 with employers across Scotland.
